The campus community has pulled together to participate in many different activities and events. Throughout the year, look for:

• Go Blue Fridays

  • All faculty, staff and students are encouraged to wear UMaine gear and/or blue clothing to work.

  • Look for blue food specials in the Dining Commons and Go Blue specials in the residence halls markets.

• Go Blue food specials will be offered in the Student Union Marketplace, Bear's Den.

• Bookstore specials and discounts

• Local Business Pride

  • Local businesses in Orono and Old Town are proudly displaying Go Blue banners in their storefront windows.

  • The Orono bridge will sport new UMaine flags periodically throughout the year.

• Athletics

  • Cheer your teams on during Go Blue weekends and look for Go Blue promotions throughout the entire season.

• Good News Bullets

  • Check the Go Blue site often for facts and information about UMaine's uniqueness.

  • Regular e-mails will share important information about how UMaine is excelling.

  • All faculty, staff and students are asked to spread the word about The University of Maine's outstanding efforts.
