Family and Friends Weekend
Family and Friends Weekend will take place Feb. 13-15, with a
full lineup of activities for students and their families.
Highlights include a craft fair, women's and men's hockey games,
women's basketball, the UMaine spring musical Side Show, an
International Dance Show at the Collins Center for the Arts and
the scholar-athlete recognition ceremony. For a full schedule of

Climate Change Lecture
Gregory Zaro, assistant professor in anthropology and the
Climate Change Institute, will present "Ancient Civilizations,
Archaeology and Environmental Change in South America,"
6:30–7:45 p.m., Jan. 14, at the Bangor Public Library. Zaro's
talk is the third installment in the Climate Change Institute's
monthly lecture series, which is free and open to the public.
